Apple Intelligence sagt dazu:Mich interessiert momentan auch nicht die Sinnhaftigkeit oder medizinische Genauigkeit, sondern:
Warum funktioniert es an Land und nicht auf dem Wasser?
1. movement of the ship:
Apple Watch uses an accelerometer and gyroscope to analyze body movement. If the ship rocks or vibrates at sea, the Apple Watch can misinterpret these movements and assume that you are active, even if you are asleep.
2. heart rate measurement:
Another factor in sleep analysis is the heart rate, which is measured via the optical sensor. It can be more difficult to take a precise measurement if you are moving around (e.g. due to waves).
3. interference from ambient noise:
If the boat is noisy (e.g. due to engine noise or wave action), this could also affect your sleep quality, indirectly confusing the watch's analysis.
4. missing data on sleep position:
The Apple Watch combines movement data and sleep positions (resting phases, position changes) for analysis. If the ship wobbles, this can result in inaccurate values.
