So anbei mal die Einträge aus der Konsole von gestern Abend wo er wieder bissel gebraucht hat zum runterfahren:

Ansonsten fällt mir nix negatives auf, auch nicht in der Aktivitätsanzeige. Wenn ich das MBA starte und eben Safari öffne, laufen am Anfang 96 Prozesse, jetzt nur noch 91 Prozesse und am Anfang nehmen halt die Prozesse Safari und Flash Player jeweils 20-30% CPU in Anspruch, aber wirklich nur die ersten 5 Sekunden und dann gehts auf zwischen 0 und 2 % runter.

Ich versteh halt nicht, warum im Vergleich zu Lion selbst mit der 10.8.2 die Akkulaufzeit rapide runtergegangen ist und er manchmal beim Runterfahren so zickt. Eben hab ich ihn nochmal runtergefahren, so ca. 1min nach dem Start und hatte nur kurz Safari offen und wieder geschlossen, da ging er total schnell aus. Aber sonst ist eben öfters, dass erst diese Ladekreis kommt bevor das Display schwarz wird.

Habs jetzt mehrmals an und ausgemacht und ich glaube es liegt an der Spotlight Suche. Zumindest jedes Mal wenn ich das MBA hochgefahren habe und die Suche benutzt habe und es danach ausmache, kommt der Ladekreis. Benutze ich die Spotlight Suche nicht, kommt kein Ladekreis...Aber wieso kann das MBA den Prozess nicht beenden bzw. wieso dauert das so lange!?

Was meinst du mit Spotify suche, hast du Spotify installiert und suchst du Musik oder meinst du Spotlight, die OS X eigene suche.
spotlight, bzw. Die Prozesse die dafür genutzt werden sind unter anderem auch für Timemachine notwendig und in Verbindung mit Timemachine kann es durchaus zu Verzögerungen beim herunterfahren kommen.

Guten Abend nochmal,

ich versteh diese Diskontinuität nicht. Jetzt hatte ich mal wieder meine externe Festplatte angeschlossen und ein Time Machine Backup gemacht. Einfach so, ohne mir irgendwelche Gedanken zu machen. Nun ist der Akku voll und er zeigt eine Laufzeit von 9,5h an ... Ganz anders wie zuvor, als ich den Akku entladen hatte und noch nicht die externe Festplatte angeschlossen hatte.

Das einzige was mich immer noch stört ist, dass er eben manchmal anscheinend einen Prozess beenden muss bevor es ausgeht...

Guten Abend,

ich habe auch das Problem, dass teilweise das Herunterfahren des MacBooks länger dauert (auch erst seit 10.8.2). Anfangs dachte ich, dass da eine Korrelation zwischen dem langsamen Herunterfahren und der Mail- Anwendung bestünde aber mittlerweile ist diese Vermutung dann doch der Erkenntnis meinerseits gewichen, dass die längere Zeit zum Herunterfahren scheinbar willkürlich auftritt und sich nicht einer bestimmten Aktivität zuordnen lässt. Im Hardwarebereich (Mobil- Macs) existiert sogar bereits ein Thread, wo verschiedene Leute über dieses Problem berichten.
Scheint also irgendein Bug zu sein, der hoffentlich mit 10.8.3 behoben werden wird.

ich habe ein MacBook Air (gekauft im Januar 2011 // Intel Core 2 Duo, 1,4 GHz, 2 GB, 64GB flash).
Nun meine Frage(n): Macht es Sinn ML darauf zu installieren oder leidet die Geschwindigkeit und Batterielaufzeit darunter zu sehr? Lohnt es sich für die Neuerungen überhaupt?

Naja, auch wenn einige Leute mit Updates Ärger haben (was auch schon früher der Fall war, ich hatte eigentlich nur Ärger beim Update von Tiger auf Leopard), würde ich daraus keine generelle „Never update a running system“-Empfehlung ableiten.
Mir selbst wären einige Features (vor allem aus Lion) wichtiger als das vorsorgliche Zurückbleiben, z.B. Versions, mobile TimeMachine-Backups, Support für Java 7 und andere Software, die Lion oder Mountain Lion als Minimum voraussetzen, selbst Kleinigkeiten wie das Notification Center oder dass der AppStore nun auch in normalen Benutzerkonten automatisch auf verfügbare Updates hinweist (während die Softwareaktualisierung das bisher nur in Admin-Konten automatisch tat).

moin, weiß nicht ob ich hier in der richtigen ecke bin, aber ich versuchs mal. ich hab jetzt seit montag das mbp und habe meine daten von der externen via usb übertragen beim ersten start. jetzt wenn ich aber die externe via usb 3.0 anschließe geht diese immer wieder aus und startet von selber neu und das alles immer wieder und wieder ...
via firewire klappt es gerade, auch hatte ich via usb 3.0 probleme itunes zu starten. ich habe meine mediathek auf der externen, wollte ich dann itunes starten kam der fehler 13014. ich hab das mit google gesucht und auch was gefunden. doch hatte das ja weniger was mit der usb schnittstelle zu tun?!
hat noch hier einer probleme mit usb 3.0 oder ähnliches?
ich würde schon gerne usb 3.0 nutzen wenn ich es jetzt schon mal mit an board habe!

@salome: Das ist schwierig zu sagen, ob das nun ein softwareseitiges Problem mit USB ist, oder ein Hardwareseitiges. Daher kann man das durchaus hier mal stehen lassen.

@Mc Lovin: Wenn Firewire ausgezeichnet funktioniert, ist die Festplatte schonmal ok. Es könnte sein, dass der USB-Controller vom externen Gehäuse Probleme macht (das muss nicht zwangsläufig defekt sein, kann auch sein, dass es im Zusammenspiel mit OSX Probleme bereitet.)

Funktioniert die Festplatte denn mit USB 3 unter Windows oder Linux? Wenn du es via USB 2 anschließt, funktioniert es auch einwandfrei?

Ich hab halt eher das Gefühl das es am OS liegt ^^ deswegen bin ich hier gelandet. Ich hatte davor meinen iMac mit 10.7.x und da lief die Externe einwandfrei über FireWire. USB 2.0 hatte an einen Windows Pc und es hat auch alles funktioniert. USB 3.0 kann ich leider nicht an einem anderen Gerät testen, da ich kein weiteres besitze. Die HDD ist auch noch recht neu und wenig in Gebrauch gewesen, darum hatte ich einen Defekt bei der ausgeschlossen. Also sollte ich mir vllt. erst mal eine Möglichkeit suchen USB 3.0 woanders zu testen, richtig?

Hatte mal vor ein paar wochen geschrieben gehabt, dass ML manchmal direkt runterfährt oder es manchmal ein wenig dauert. Das heisst grauer bildschirm mit ladekreis und dann fährt er nach 10sec ca. runter.

Genau bei dem fall, habe ich nach neustart des rechners jedes Mal im Papierkorb einen Ordner "recovered files", den ich dann einfach lösche. So wie ich das jetzt beim recherchieren gelesen habe, kommt dieser ordner in den papierkorb, wenn ein Programm abstürzt und die temporären Daten nicht löschen kann. Also hängt das wohl mit dem grauen Bildschirm zusammen. Ich weiß aber absolut nicht, welches Programm das sein könnte

Auf jeden Fall ist Skype unzufrieden. Es hat keinen Zugriff auf dein Adressbuch. Also schau, ob das Programm aktuell ist und ob du beim Adressbuch die richtigen Rechte hast.
Es kann aber auch sein, dass dieser langsame Shutdown ein Bug in ML ist. Im Netz gibt es eine Menge Klagen dieser Art. Zum Beispiel hier. Aber keine eindeutige Lösung.
Ein PRAM-Reset kann auf keinen Fall schaden: (= cmd + ⌥ + p + r , unmittelbar nach dem Startgong so lange halten bis es noch ein, zwei Mal läutet).
