Ich find die scheinbar neue GUI Philosophie, welche mit Mail 2.0 eingeleitet wurde, wesentlich angenehmer als das Brushed Alu Outfit, welches auf mich den Eindruck verursachte, hier wurde mehr auf Schein, als auf Funktionalität gesetzt. Die neue sieht trotz des minimalen Designs, v.a. hervorgerufen durch Verminderung der Fluchtlinien und des Merkmals der vorigen Designlinie - die Alu-Textur - immer noch sehr plastisch aus. Einfach herlich!
Hoffentlich dauert es nicht lange, bis auch Anwendungen wie Safari oder iCal redesignt werden.

Pro:
-Bessere Editierbarkeit der Musikdateien (z.B. Bookmarkfeature direkt über iTunes)
-Erweiterte Suchfunktion,...

Contra
-...die aber deutlich träger daherkommt als in iTunes 4 ist (eher Spotlight als Boom...)
-Ordnerfunktion für mich in der Form nicht zu gebrauchen (oder kann man Unterordner in intelligenten Wiedergabelisten erstellen?)


Zum Glück laufen die alten Zusatzapps im Dashboard oder iTunes Check noch

hallo,
...mit dem neuem look bei ich zufrieden. da kommt iTunes mal wieder etwas frischer.

...aber ich hatte vorher auch schon ein kl "problemchen".
ich habe mehrere intelligente listen mit dem thema "top 40". eine davon ist "hip hop top 40". nachdem ich mal "anstößigen inhalt nicht wiedergeben" angeklickt habe um es zu testen, spielte fast kein lied mehr ab :-D. doppelklick, weg waren sie. selbst nachdem ich "anstößigen inhalt nicht wiedergeben" wieder ausgeschaltet habe. dann ist mir aufgefallen das iTunes die "verschwunden" titel in eine 'andere' musikrichtung eingestellt hat. statt 'Hip Hop' waren die tracks jetzt unter "Hip-Hop". dann habe ich apfel-a, apfel-i und wieder alle auf 'Hip Hop' gestellt. danach ging es wieder einwandfrei.

Das Design ist gut. Könnte noch reduzierter sein. Dieses geschliffene Alu hat mit schon länger gestört. Darum habe ich ausch shapeshifter. Bin gespannt wenn alles Redesignt wird. das Geschliffene Alu macht das OS X so Home-User-Windows-Like. Also nicht für den Pro User.

Die könnten Doch einbauen, dass man verschieden Themen wählen kann ohne Zusatzprogramme....

Sacht ma bin ich bekloppt? Was hat es denn mit dieser smart-shuffle Funktion auf sich? Ich find die einfach nicht. Weder in den Einstellungen, noch als Button oder sonst was. Selbst die Hilfe weiß nichts über die Funktion. Schon seltsam!

ich muss ganz ehrlich sagen, dass die alte iTunes Version optisch ansprechender fand. Apple ist doch letztendlich auch wegen seiner top Designer Bekannt. Das brushed metal (auch wenn man darueber streiten kann) war zumindest etwas edles, besonderes.
Dieser neue Look sieht irgendwie aus wie ein billiges Windows Theme, ich kann mir nicht helfen. Vor allem sind die Apple Programmierer ja nicht mal konsequent. Mail 2 sieht anders aus, unter anderem heller. hm.

Was den Rest der Neuerungen angeht: Das ist keine neue Versionsnummer wert. Hab mir bei einer neuen Versionsnummer mehr erwartet, die jetzt geleistete Programmierarbeit fuehren zwei LAN-Kinder in einer Nacht fehlerfrei durch.... hm
Tja, "mühsam ernährt sich das Eichhörnchen", Hauptsache kein Stillstand hat man sich wohl in der iTunes Abteilung gedacht

Muss mich korrigieren: VBR gibts ja doch! Man kann zwar keine Parameter einstellen, aber es ist immerhin verfügbar.

...hab auch noch ne Frage....wie kann man einstellen, dass er die Musik auf der Festplatte so ablegt, wie meine Ordner in iTunes sind???...also im Moment erstellet er die Ordner nach Interpreten....

Kannst Du doch! Du hast die Wahl zwischen "Aqua" und "Graphite" (ich steh eher auf letzteres). Im ernst, ich bin froh, dass es von Haus aus nicht dieses "ich dreh an allen ecken der GUI"-Feature gibt. Mir gefällt die GUI so wie sie ist.. und ich bin irgendwie der Hoffnung, dass Mail.app und ITunes 5 Vorreiter für Leopard sind.. und es dann wieder nur zwei verschiedene Designs gibt.. eine für normale Apps und eine für iApps.

hehe, dann brauchen sie ja dreimal keine neue Versionsnummer. Aber die Versionsnummer kann einem auch egal sein.

Lass mal ueberlegen, ob mir noch Wuensche einfallen.

- global funktionierende shortcuts fuer vor/zurueck/pause&play
- bessere, ich wage es kaum zu tippen, DJ-Funktionen. Als Beispiel sei nur genannt den Song mit einem Crossfade zu wechseln. Sehe ich nirgends
- Die Moeglichkeit von einem normalen Handy mit der Standard Mediaplayer remote-control funktion gesteuert zu werden... naja, ich gebe zu, das ist etwas speziell

mir wuerde bestimmt mehr einfallen, wenn ich mich anstrengen wuerde

Zumindest dafür gibt es ja diverse Zusatz-Apps, z.B. iTunes Check und ähnliches

ich habe genau dasselbe problem, habe itunes sogar schon deinstalliert, aber der installer bittet mich immer weiter, itunes zu schließen.
