zu lahm für live streaming? (MacBook Pro (Retina, Mitte 2012)

Hallo liebes Forum,

ich besitze einen MacBook Pro (Retina, Mitte 2012) mit einem 2,3Ghz i7, 8GB 1600MHz DDR3, GeforceGT 650M auf Catalina 10.15.6

Ich nutze den Mac überwiegend für PS & FinalCut (leistet noch erstaunlich gute Dienste!)

Aber ...

Ich würde gern aus mehreren Gründen mehr live streamen - über OBS.

Allerdings bricht das dem Mac wohl echt die Beine, CPU geht auf ü 65°C und alles ist nur noch am ruckeln. Gerade in Verbindung mit dem Apple Monitor ...

Ich weiß gar nicht wie ich anfangen sollen zu fragen, aber besteht die Chance das ich es hier irgendwie ruckelfrei bekomme?

Möchte mich im Vorfeld schon für das Lesen und die Hilfe bedanken!

CPU geht auf ü 65°C

die Temperatur ist ja aus dem Eisfach. Die meisten CPUs sind bis 100°C spezifiziert und jeder Mac nutzt das aus, damit die Lüfter möglichst spät angehen müssen. Das soll nicht heißen, dass laufende Lüfter schlecht wären. Die sind dafür da zu kühlen und das tun sie. Fast kein Macbook außer den neuesten M1 bleiben leise, wenn sie v.a. grafikintensive Dinge zu tun bekommen. Sorgen muss man sich nicht wegen der Lautstärke, sondern zu hoher Temperatur >100°C machen, aber auch da schaltet sich im Notfall der Rechner zum Eigenschutz eher selbst ab.

Ich weiß gar nicht wie ich anfangen sollen zu fragen, aber besteht die Chance das ich es hier irgendwie ruckelfrei bekomme?

Was willst Du erreichen? So, wie ich das sehe, sollte OBS Full HD streamen können, sofern der Rechner noch genügend Kapazitäten hat. Mit den wenigen Infos, die man bisher hat, kann man nur mutmaßen, dass Du eine zu hohe Auflösung, Bildwiederholrate, Bitrate eingestellt hast oder ein Spiel streamen möchtest, das selbst den Mac schon komplett fordert.
Also, mehr Infos bitte. Für OBS hat es spezialisiertere Foren, wo Du wohl eher verlässliche Antworten bekommst.
Was den Mac angeht, könntest Du mal das Inventarisierungsprogramm EtreCheck laden, ausführen (bitte unter Einstellungen/Datenschutz Vollzugriff auf die Festplatte geben) und dessen Bericht hier in sog. Code-Tags posten.

Vorweg: Bei dem Alter gibt es ein paar Möglichkeiten, dass der Mac gar nicht mehr volle Leistung bieten *kann*. Indizien dafür sieht man im EtreCheck-Bericht.

Zusätzlich zur Leistungsfähigkeit des Macs, wird man vermutlich auch das genutzte Netzwerk in die Betrachtung mit einbeziehen müssen.

Natürlich, ich hatte vergessen zu schreiben das ich an einer 150MBit Leitung der Telekom hänge - das wäre also ausgeschlossen.

was soll das heißen, worauf beziehst Du Dich (ist hier ein Post geändert worden?)? Die Netzwerkstrecke ist eine anhand der immer noch spärlichen Informationslage berechtigte Frage, wenn man schon die Symptomatik nicht beschrieben bekommt. Dass das MBPr2012 keinen Ethernetanschluss hat, ist uns nicht entfallen, wäre aber auch egal .

Du musst den gar nicht speichern, Copy&paste würde reichen. Geht das?
Und was meinst Du mit Aufhängen? Kommt so ein sich drehender SAT.1-Ball? Wenn ja, hilft 10min warten?

Andere würden Dir mit solchen Aussagen nicht mehr helfen - sorry.

Aber zurück zum Thema: Du sprichst von der 150Mbit T-Leitung - und bist mit WLAN verbunden. Das allein kann schon miserabel sein, das sagt nicht wirklich etwas aus.

Der Akku ist defekt. Aber er ist notwendig, deswegen arbeitet der Mac im Notbetrieb mit weniger Takt (=er ist weniger leistungsfähig). Die SSD hat eine schlechte Performance - das könnte bedeuten, dass sie ihr Lebensende erreicht hat, aber auch, dass parallel wahnsinnig viel Zugriffe erfolgen, das kann ich aus der Ferne nicht beurteilen.

Du hast CleanMyMac drauf, das hier als Schadsoftware verschrien ist, weil es mehr kaputt machen kann, als dass es hilft.

Grundsätzlich scheinen wahnsinnig viele alte Programme und Treiber installiert zu sein, dass sich die Frage stellt, ob nicht das System so zugemüllt ist, dass das mit zur Problematik beiträgt.

macOS 10.15.6 ist für diesen Mac nicht gemacht (inkompatibel). Da stellt sich die Frage, wie Du das raufbekommen hast und welche Veränderungen der Nicht-Apple-Anbieter an der orignalen Installation vorgenommen hat, die auch mit zum Problem beitragen könnten.

…ich bin noch skeptischer. Ja, das wäre als Minimum nötig. Aber ich würde keinen Euro mehr in das Gerät stecken, zu viele Unwägbarkeiten. Obwohl die Leistung des intakten Geräts immer noch mehr als ausreichen würde.
