Plötzliches Einfrieren MBP 5,2 - Bitte um Hilfe bei Ursachenforschung..

Hallo liebes Forum,
seit ca 3 Wochen beobachte ich bei meinem neuen MBP seltsame Abstürze resp. Freezes:

Ich habe in komplett unterschiedlichen Situationen (Web-Browsen mit Firefox, arbeit im Finder, Adobe Fireworks CS 4, Parallels Desktop) folgendes Problem:
Mein MBP wird von einer Sekunde auf die andere plötzlich sehr träge, ich kann mit viel Glück vielleicht noch in ein anderes Programm oder einen anderen Space wechseln aber der Mauscursor verwandelt sich meistens im gleichen Moment in den drehenden Beachball... nach ca 15 bis 20 Sekunden reagiert dann AUSSER der Maus überhaupt NICHTS mehr!!
Ich kann rein gar nichts auf dem Bildschirm anklicken, auch alle Tastatureingaben scheinen nicht mehr anzukommen. Ich habe beim vorletzten Mal eine halbe Stunde gewartet und das Verhalten hat sich nicht geändert. Ich kann mit der Maus umherflitzen aber das wars auch schon. Auch das Schliessen des Displaydeckels bewirkt nichts mehr, das MBP geht nicht in den Standby-Modus.
Dieses Problem taucht auch unabhängig davon auf, ob ich einen externen Bildschirm / Tastatur / Maus benutze oder unterwegs ohne zusätzliche Peripherie arbeite. Es muss irgendetwas mit OS X oder der internen Hardware zu tun haben! Zwischen den einzelnen "Hängern" hatte ich nun zwischen 1 bis 7 Tage keinerlei Probleme - bis heute Nachmittag.. :-(

Ich habe in den Energiespar-Optionen immer die höchste Leistung gewählt, also arbeite ich mit dem dedizierten Grafik-Chipsatz. Bei den CPU und GPU-Temperaturen meldet iStat mit 60 resp 58 Grad - die Wärme sollte also eigentlich nicht die Ursache sein. Ich habe die Lüfter mit SMCFancontrol seit längerer Zeit auf 2600U/Min erhöht damit das Teil nicht zu heiss wird.

Rechte reparieren und Volume überprüfen habe ich schon mehrfach nach jedem der Freezes durchgeführt, es werden keine Probleme gefunden.

Kann mir vielleicht Jemand einen Tip geben was ich noch machen könnte um die Ursache herauszfinden? Oder soll ich direkt den Apple-Support kontaktieren?
 
Apple Hardware-Test durchlaufen lassen. Könnte an defektem RAM liegen (der vom Test jedoch nicht immer gefunden wird. Diesen laufen zu lassen lohnt sich aber alleweil).
 
ich tippe auf ram. hast du nen händler in der nähe, bei dem du testweise anderen ram einbauen kannst?

andere frage, hast du nachträglich den ram getauscht?
 
so, Apple Hardware Test (ausführlicher Modus) brachte nach 1,5 Stunden keine Fehler zutage, scheint alles OK zu sein. Habe anschliessend noch von der Leopard 10.5.6 INstall DVD das Volume überprüfen lassen (keine Fehler) sowie die Zugriffsrechte repariert..

mal sehen ob sich was ändert, das werden wohl erst die nächsten Tage zeigen.

@rc4370: die 4GB Ram waren bereits werksseitig verbaut. Das Gerät ist hardware-technisch gesehen im Originalzustand und noch nicht mal 2 Monate alt...
 
kurzer Zwischenbericht: momentan habe ich 6Tage und 11Stunden Uptime - OS X arbeitet wie wenn nix wäre, ich hoffe das bleibt so :-)
 
und wieder ein statusbericht: Uptime 13 Tage und 7 Stunden und immer noch kein Freeze!!! :-)
 
Es könnte durchaus an SMCFanController liegen... Habe in anderen Forum oder auch hier schon öfter gelesen das dieses Programm nicht gut für den Mac ist... Mac OS X kühlt selbst wenn es meint kühlen zu müssen... Das mit einem Programm zu steuern ist anscheinend schlecht...
 
SMCFANController habe ich zwar die ganze Zeit in Betrieb. Hatte das auch auf dem Vorgänger MBP ohne Probleme ständig am laufen.
An der OSX "Kühlungsphilosophie" gefällt mir nicht, dass zuerst fast gar nicht gekühlt wird und die Fans erst dann zum (hochtourigen) Einsatz kommen wenn das Gerät schon zum Oberschenkel-Grillen benutzt werden kann.
Ich habe die Fans mit SMC ständig bei knapp 2880 Umdrehungen am laufen und kann damit die Temperatur über den ganzen Arbeitstag konstant zwischen 55 bis 70C halten (je nachdem was ich grad mache). Der Geräuschpegel ist auch nciht wirklich wahrnehmbar (Büro und HomeOffice).
 
kurzes update und nochmals Hilferuf:
mittlerweile hab ich die freezes täglich, das MBP taugt somit nicht mehr zum produktiven einsatz. im Apple Store wollte mir niemand so richtig glauben dass sich das Teil einfach aufhängt - aber einen 10-tägigen Test würden sie schon machen in der Zeit hätte ich einfach kein Arbeitsgerät.. Toll!!

habe auch versucht zu analysieren ob irgendein gerät / monitor die ursache sein könnte, bis jetzt leider erfolglos.
Wenn ich den Deckel zuklappe geht das MBP nach ca 10 MInuten in den Sleep und wacht nach dem Öffnen mit ca 1 Minute Verzögerung auch wieder auf - allerdings immer noch hübsch eingefroren und mit schwarzem Bildschirm (Mauszeiger bleibt aber sichtbar und reagiert)

Hat mittlerweile jemand ähnliche Erfahrungen?

In der Konsole gibts nun nach den Neustarts folgenden Eintrag : "kernel Previous Shutdown Cause: 3" Weiss jemand womit dies zusammenhängen könnte??
 
ich tippe auf die ssd, bau doch mal testweise eine andere platte ein und probier es mal damit.
 
die SSD??? hmm diese Idee ist mir bislang überhaupt noch nicht gekommen - könnte man aber auch in Betracht ziehen. Blöd ist nur ass ich keine andere 2.5" Platte rumliegen habe und für einen weiteren Testlauf extra eine zu kaufen? mit dem Gedanken muss ich mich erst mal anfreunden...

Gibt es evtl Softwaretools um die SSD zu checken? ich habe eine original von Apple verbaute 256GB drin...

So nach längerem Schweigen will ich hier das Thema schliessen mit der End-Lösung:
Vor 10 Tagen hat sich mein MBP wieder mal eingefroren - nach dem Neustart ging aber fast gar nix mehr, der Schreibtisch war blockiert und auch Applikationen liessen sich nciht mehr starten.
Nachdem ich mit einem ASP telefoniert hatte und mir dieser sämtliche Lösungsansätze zum Thema "Das scheint ein Schrift-Problem zu sein" erfolglos durchgegeben hatte blieb nur noch der Gang zum Service Center. Dabei wurde dann die SSD ausgebaut und an einem anderen MAC getestet - auch dieser kollabierte sofort beim Zugriff auf die Disk.

Fazit:
- 1 defekte 256GB SSD (original von Apple)
- zudem noch das 17" matt-DIsplay ersetzt weil sich der innere silberne Rahmen links oben und unten gelöste hatte - das war ein Glücksfall so habe ich nach rund 8 Monaten ein neues Display und keine kaputten Pixel mehr!)

Nun läuft mein MBP wieder so wie es sollte!
