Habe irgendwo heut in der Früh, so nach 06.00 Uhr, meinen iMac platt gemacht. Nun ist er frisch, aufgeräumt...und so sollte das ja sein.
Erkenntnis die Erste...traue keinem TM Backup blind, du könntest aufgeschmissen sein. Warum auch immer, aber zu iTunes fehlte dann doch einiges, Musik und auch Klingeltöne. Fragt nicht warum, ich weiss es nicht. Aber man hat ja iTunes Match, somit waren da keine Schweissperlen auf der Stirn. (Und nein, ich habe bewusst nicht den alten iTunes Ordner gesichert, extra. Ich wollte auch iTunes frisch und hier eigentlich nur Inhalte aus dem TM Backup importieren...)
Klingeltöne hab ich mit einem Tool aus dem Netz vom iPhone gerettet, also auch die sind mir erhalten geblieben.
Erkenntnis die Zweite...Microsoft ist eine Seuche! Habe ja weiter oben schon angemerkt, Parallels samt enthaltenem Windows 7 wollte ich entsorgen, ich brauche es einfach nicht.
Da ich aber leider zur Firma kompatibel sein muss, dann das kleinere Übel, Office für Mac. Deutlich denkste! Herrje, dieses Office schleppt auch wieder Ballast mit umher (siehe Etre Protokoll unten), schön ist es nicht. Aber die Redmonder Denke zu Software verhindert wohl schlankeres.
Wie auch immer...Fazit...Es ist, trotz der kleinen Haken unterwegs, ein schönes Gefühl vor einem frischen Mac zu sitzen. Über die Sinnhaftigkeit der Aktion brauchen wir hier nicht philosophieren, da hat wohl jeder seinen Standpunkt und das ist auch gut so. Für meinen Teil war es eine Erfahrung, die ich machen wollte...
