Du solltest mal Update ziehen auf 10.10.5. Dann das MBP neustarten.
Danach erstellst du bitte nochals ein Etrecheck-Logfile nach der Aneitung
In der Maske von EtreCheck lässt du die drei haken drin.

Und wie sicherst du deine Daten?

Habe das Update drauf gezogen. Meine Daten sichere ich ab und an manuell auf einer externen Festplatte. Wieso fragst du? Weil ich die Time Machine nicht aktiviert habe? Ehrlich gesagt habe ich hierfür bislang einfach noch keine weitere Externe gekauft und mich auch sonst noch nicht so intensiv damit beschäftigt. Bin bisher immer ganz gut mit der manuellen Sicherung zurecht gekommen.

der Macbook Pro meiner Frau ist seit geraumer Zeit extrem langsam geworden. Booten dauert mehrere Minuten. Das Macbook wird hauptsächlich fürs Bloggen verwendet. Ich bin auf der Suche nach einer Lösung auf diesen Thread gestoßen und habe das besagt Programm heruntergeladen und installiert. Ich hoffe, dass mir jemand anhand des Berichtes helfen kann, das Macbook wieder flott zu bekommen.

Wenn nicht bereits auf anderem Wege verwirklich, bitte unbedingt eine Datensicherung anlegen!

(Dazu z.B. eine leere 1 TB - besser 2 TB - externe USB-Festplatte an den Mac anschliessen und über die Systemeinstellungen Time Machine konfigurieren)

Kannst Du bitte beschreiben, wie sich die Langsamkeit äußert? Reagiert der Computer zwar sofort, aber braucht lange zum Laden (das Programmicon hüpft lange im Dock)? Oder ist es eher so, dass der Beachball/SAT1-Ball auftaucht und der Computer in der Zeit gar nicht vernünftig arbeitet? Falls letzteres, dann bitte mal https://www.apfeltalk.de/community/...d-2012-und-der-beachball.468240/#post-4417264 durchführen und die SMART-Werte posten (oben ist nur der SMART-Status).

@Wiss85 Du solttest dringend Java und Flashplayer aktualisieren. Beide sind uralt und weisen Sicherheitslücken auf.
Wenn du auf den Flashplayer verzichten kannst, deinstalliere ihn nach Herstellerangabe.

Hallo zusammen,

@doc_holleday : Meine Frau speichert die Daten so auf eine externe Platte ohne Time Machine. Vllt werde ich das ändern.

@Wuchtbrumme: beides! wenn man ein Programm öffnen möchte, hüpft das icon mehrere Minuten und der Beachball dreht seine Runden. Auch das booten dauert extrem lange (mehrere Minuten) ehe man überhaupt einen Ordner öffnen kann.

Du gehörst auch zu denen, deren Festplatte blödsinnig oft parkt. Du hast eine Betriebsdauer von 4820h, das sind 289200min. Geparkt hat die Platte in der Zeit 302955 Mal. D.h. mehr als ein Mal pro Minute hat die Festplatte sich schlafen gelegt.

Entweder Du nutzt die Tools aus dem Thread oder Du rüstet auf eine SSD um, was ich Dir ganz ehrlich empfehlen würde. Die kosten nicht mehr so viel (ca. 150 Euro für 500GB) und selbst, nachdem Dein Mac ja ohnehin nicht langsam ist, wird Dir das vorkommen wie ein völlig neuer Mac. Empfehlen kann ich die Geräte von Crucial (BX _00 für Budget, MX 200/300 für Performance), die SSDs von Samsung tauchen meiner Meinung nach immer wieder in Problemberichten auf. Worauf Du beim Tausch unbedingt achten musst, ist, dass das SATA-Kabel nicht beschädigt wird.

Hallo, du hast schon mal zwei Tools installiert, die dir deinen Mac kaputtreparieren: Steam Clean und Memory Cleaner. Runter mit dem Mist und nie wieder etwas in der Art installieren. Google dir ne Anleitung, wie du den Müll am sichersten entfernst.

Und es ist natürlich tödlich, dass du kein TimeMachine Backup hast.

Hoffe dein System ist danach flotter.
