iMac mid 2010 27“ 3,2 GHz startet nicht mehr

Hallo,

Ich habe heute mal meine Festplatte aufgeräumt und viele Daten und Programme gelöscht.
Ich war dann irgendwann im Launchpad als der iMac plötzlich hängen blieb. Ich habe es nicht geschafft, aus dem launchpad heraus zu kommen, also habe ich den Power Knopf gedrückt gehalten.
Wenn ich den iMac nun starte, geht es dann bei dem Apple Logo und dem Ladekreis nicht weiter.
Ich habe die aktuelle Version von Mountain Lion drauf.

Halte ich beim booten Shift gedrückt, kommt zu dem Kreis unten noch ein Ladebalken, welcher Aber aber nach Ca 1/3 Fortschritt wieder verschwindet und dann passiert außer Festplattenknacken nichts.
Ich habe dann die SL DVD eingelegt und mit C gebootet, auch da passiert nichts.
Beim booten mit ALT gelange ich auch nicht zur Startvolumeauswahl, sondern wieder zum Ladekreis.
Dort hänge ich jetzt seit knapp einer halben Stunde.
Ext. Geräte sind alle abgeschlossen.

Ich hoffe sehr, dass mir hier schnell weitergeholfen werden kann, da ich gerade an einem wichtigen Projekt hänge.

Ach ja, wenn ich mit C boote, macht das DVD-Lauferk einen Höllenlärm.

Ich konnte nun doch von DVD booten und die Zugriffsrechte und Festplatte reparieren. Leider bootet er trotzdem nicht :(

Wie kannst du während du an einem wichtigen Projekt arbeitest, den Mac "aufräumen"? Ich muss leider sagen, dass das eine Schnapsidee war.
Starte mal mit gedrücktem V - da wird mitgeschrieben, was beim Start geschieht, vielleicht lässt sich aus der Zeile, bevor der Mac hängen bleibt, die Ursache herauslesen.
Wie lange hast du gewartet beim Start im Safe Mode (der Balken ist in Ordnung, der zeigt, dass fremde .kext deaktiviert werden). Danach kam wieder der Kreisel? Wen dem so wäre, dann liegt es nicht an irgendwelchen Daten / Programmen in deiner Library sondern möglicherweise am System. Hast du auch im Systemordner "aufgeräumt"? Oder gar irgendeines von den schädlichen Tools wie MacKeeper oder CleanMyMac oder – horribile dictu – Onyx verwendet?
Probiere dennoch noch einmal mit cmd R von der recovery Disc zu starten, die sollte nicht beschädigt sein.

Danke für die schnelle Antwort - das mit der Schnapsidee kannst du laut sagen, aber es war eine für mich sinnvolle Pausenbeschäftigung, da das schon lange anstand. Ich bereue diese Idee nun.

Starte ich mit gedrücktem V kommt wieder der Kreis - kein Text.
Boote ich mit CMD+R kommt das OS X-Dienstprogramm (kannte ich gar nicht). Hier kann ich aus Time-Machine ein Backup wiederherstellen, OS X neu installieren, Online-Hilfe aufrufen (das tue ich gerade, denn so kann ich hier nun schreiben ohne es umständlich mit dem Handy zu tun) und das Festplattendienstprogramm zu öffnen.
Prüfe ich nun mit dem Festplattendienstprogramm meine Rechte und das Volume, ist alles i.O.

Beim Start des Safemodes wartete ich knapp eine halbe Stunde. (Den Balken zählte ich auch zum Safe-Boot versuch, doch hat dieser nicht bis 100% ausgeschlagen, sondern verschwand nach ca. einem Drittel - vielleicht aber gingen auch die letzen 2/3 schneller, als mein Auge es wahrnehmen konnte). Danach kam aber wieder der Kreis, richtig, den ich dann die knappe halbe Stunde seine Runden drehen lies.

Tools habe ich keine verwendet, alles manuell. Ich habe zu 95% Bilder, Videos und Dokumente sortiert und logisch in Ordner verwaltet und so aufgeräumt. Dann habe ich noch 3-4 Programme (hauptsächlich alte Trial-Versionen, die ich für einmalige Zwecke installiert hatte) gelöscht.
Dazu bin ich den in Finder, habe den App-Name gesucht, und habe die Suche auf "Name enthält" und "Systemdateien einbeziehen" eingestellt und dann alles in den Papierkorb geschoben und diesen dann geleert.

Das System lief dann auch eine gute Stunde wunderbar bis das Launchpad hängen blieb und ich auf harte Art ausschalten musste.
Sowas hatte ich zuvor noch nie.

cmd R startet die Recovery Disc, das ist der Ersatz für die Installations-DVD, die es bis 10.6 (Snow Leopard gab). Wenn du das Volumen geprüft hast (wie du schreibst) und es wurde in Ordnung befunden, dann würde ich das "Angebot" der neu Installation des Systems annehmen.
Ja, der Balken verschwindet oft, bevor er sich voll geladen zeigt. Das hat nichts zu bedeuten, aber anscheinend, wie gesagt, liegt die Start-Verweigerung nicht im Daten Bereich, sondern tatsächlich im System.
"Systemdateien einbeziehen"
Zum Vergrößern anklicken....
Vielleicht war das der Kardinalfehler. Da hast du vermutlich wichtige Systemdateien, die ähnliche Buchstabenfolgen enthalten wie das betreffende Programm im Orkus versenkt.
Also Neuinstallation ist angesagt, das dauert ca. 2 x 40 Minuten: Zuerst wird das System aus dem Internet geladen, dann wird es installiert.
Achtung dass du oben rechts die deutsche Fahne siehst, sonst ist die Tastatur amerikanisch und du musst sie im Kopf haben, um dein Passwort richtig einzutippen. Doch diese Länderfahne lässt sich durch einen Klick umstellen.

Sowas hatte ich zuvor noch nie.
Zum Vergrößern anklicken....
Ich auch noch nicht, aber ich lösche meine Programme entweder durch Ziehen in en Papierkorb (den unbedeutenden Rest finde ich bei Gelegenheit in meiner Library!) oder mit Hilfe des Deinstallers, wenn das Programm (gar nicht Apple-like) mit einem Installer geladen worden ist.

Na ja, den Rest der Predigt spare ich mir. Du bist gestraft genug. Doch wenn du das nächste Mal eine Pausenentspannung benötigst, putze lieber die Fenster oder bügle Hemden, anstatt den Mac zu polieren, bis er platt ist. :)

Nein, würde ich dir nicht raten, du weißt ja nicht welche da fehlen und der Durcheinander wird noch wirrer.
Das Neuinstallieren dauert seine Zeit, aber es läuft automatisch, du musst nach der Eingabe des Passwortes nichts mehr tun und deine Daten bleiben alle erhalten – keine Sorge.

Mac ist echt witzig - startet nach einer Neuinstallation sogar genau an dem Punkt, an dem ich zuletzt war xD

Muss ich jetzt noch irgendetwas, bzw. wäre es ratsam, jetzt noch irgendwelche Schritte durchzuführen?
Vllt. etwas sichern, einstellen, etc...?

Du musst gar nichts mehr tun, denn wie deine Daten sind auch deine Einstellungen erhalten geblieben. Alles in deinem Userordner und in der darin liegenden Library. Das ist das feine am Mac - Daten und System sind so streng getrennt, dass auch eine Neuinstallation (ohne Löschen des olumens) Daten und Einstellungen nicht berührt. Ein Backup ist dennoch immer anzuraten. Shit happens frequently!
Nur wenn das System auffallend langsam ist (beim Start oder bei der Arbeit), dann solltest du die Konsole (Dienstprogramm) öffnen und nachsehen, ob sich irgendwo Reste der gelöschten Programme herum treiben. Manche Programme haben sogenannte Launcher, die es öffnen, und diese bleiben oft übrig und suchen dann nach dem (gelöschten) Programm. Das verzögert natürlich.
Aber wenn du zufrieden bist, setze deine Arbeit fort und kümmere dich um nichts. Das Reinigen des Systems passiert automatisch, täglich, wöchentlich und monatlich. So ist Unix.

Mein iMac ist EXTREM langsam.

Wenn ich nur Mail und Safari mit 3 Tabs geöffnet habe, dauert allein das Wiederaufwecken aus dem Ruhezustand bis zur Eingabe des Passwortes teils 10 Sekunden. Nach der Eingabe dauert es dann nochmal 10-20 Sekunden bis alles flüssig läuft.
Auch so kommt es oft beim normalen Surfen und z.b. Öffnen des Finders zu langen Ladezeiten.
Keine Ahnung woran das liegt

Du hast ja anscheinend nur drüber installiert, dabei bleiben natürlich nicht nur deine Daten, Einstellungen, Programme etc. erhalten, sondern eventuelle Fehler, abseits von systemdateien( die ja ersetzt werden), bleiben erhalten.
bei dir sind das vermutlich eigens installierte Programme/helferlein, Plugins, Treiber oder sonstiges.
aufschluss könnte zum Beispiel ein Blick ins Log bringen, Programme/Dienstprogramme/Konsole, dort dann "Alle Meldungen".
wenn du ungeeignete Tools zum deinstall, wie zum Beispiel AppCleaner nutzt, können Reste von Programmen stören, wenn du systemverschlimmbesserungstools wie Onyx, CleanMyMac, MacKeeper nutzt oder auch antivirentools, dann können auch die verantwortlich sein.

Gut, dann versetze den Mac in den Ruhezustand, wecke ihn wieder und wenn alles flüssig läuft, öffnest du die Konsole und schaust dir die zuletzt (ab dem Sleep) geschriebenen Logeinträge (Alle Meldungen) an, wenn sie dir nichts sagen, dann kopierst du sie und postest sie hier wie es in der Anleitung geschrieben steht.
Die Konsole ist ein Programm und liegt im Ordner Dienstprogramme. Doppelklick öffnet sie.

Edit: Natürlich hat phharmonie "nur" drüber installiert – das System war so zerstört, dass es nicht gestartet ist, aber wie aktuell das Backup ist, wusste ich nicht und deshalb habe ich mal fürs erste geraten, das System zu aktualisieren. Und jetzt kann er (der Mac oder der User) wieder starten und wir können an die Fehlerbehebung gehen. Immer hat er ein wichtiges Projekt in Arbeit, da hätte ich nie und nimmer um Löschen des Volumens geraten. Außerdem war es eine Nachtarbeit und ich bin froh, dass sie so weit gelungen ist.

Hast du ein Wake on Lane -Tool installiert.
Welche Devices hängen dran.
Probiers mal ohne den Hub - der hat dir den Mac geweckt.
Auch USB weckt den Mac aus dem Schlaf.
Ich kann aber nicht alles interpretieren.
Mach einmal einen SMC-Reset -
Dann starte im Safe Mode. Shift taste halten bis der graue Balken erscheint - dauert etwas länger, aber es werden Kleinigkeiten repariert, die Caches geleert etc.
Dann starte wieder normal und poste die Zeilen vom Start bis zum "flüssigen Reagieren" des Mac. Lass aber den Hub abgehängt. Der ist so oft für Ärger verantwortlich.

Also geweckt habe ich den Mac durch klicken auf die Bluetooth Maus. Hinten dran steckt nur meine ext. Festplatte für Time Mashine.
Falls ich ein wake on lan Tool habe, dann unbewusst. Brauchen tue ich keins. Ich werde deine Schritte aber befolgen und gleich posten.

O. K. Vielleicht sieht das dann ein Nachtvogel, meine Vogeldasein war heute lang genug.
Bluetooth Maus - das sagt diese Zeile, also kein Problem.
Doch warum benutzt du einen HUB wenn nur eine einzige Festplatte (kein Tablet? Und auch sonst nichts?) angeschlossen hast? Wieso verbindest du die Platte nicht direkt über USB (oder einen anderen Anschluss) mit dem Mac?

ich besitze und nutze keinen Hab - an meinem Mac steckt, wie gesagt, nur meine ext. Platte direkt dran - sonst nichts.

Ich habe SMC zurückgesetzt (runterfahren, Netzstecker hinten raus, 15 Sekunden warten, Netzstecker dran, 5 Sekunden warten, Einschalten).
Dann habe ich mit Shift gebootet, der Ladebalken kam und irgendwann mein Anmeldefenster.
Habe mich eingeloggt und dann hat sich der Mac augehängt. Ich konnte nichts machen außer die Maus bewegen.
Habe ihn dann Ausgeschaltet (Knopf 5 Sekunden gehalten) und normal gebootet.
Beim Login wurde ich darauf hingewiesen, dass ich ihn ausgeschaltet habe und ob ich die letzte Sitzung wiederherstellen will.
Habe nein gesagt und mich eingeloggt.

Hmh, dann weiß ich nicht was diese Zeilen bedeuten.
Und wenn der Mac normal startet, verstehe ich nicht, wieso er es dann im Safe Mode nicht tut. Das ist ziemlich ungewöhnlich.
REpariere bitte die Fonts: Programme / Schriftsammlung.
Probiere noch Mal im Safe Mode zu starten - denn dabei werden die Fonte Caches gelöscht und das wäre sehr hilfreich.
Es gibt auch einen Terminalbefehl dafür (in drei Zeilen, getrennt durch ⏎
Aber ich bin ziemlich Terminal-abstinent und übernehme deshalb keine Verantwortung. Ausprobiert habe ich den Befehl und lebe noch.
Das sollte der Befehl sein, um den Font-Cache zu löschen. S

Ich habe zur Sicherheit deine Befehle eingegeben und noch mit Shift gebootet und dann beim Anmeldebildschirm auf Neustarten geklickt und normal gebootet

Was darin noch sehr lange lädt ist "Alle meine Dateien", was ich etwas nachvollziehen kann, aber auch nicht großartig schlimm finde, da ich das nicht nutze.

Auffällig ist, dass die CPU selten ausgelastet hast, wenn der Mac hängt.
