iMAC laesst sich nicht aus Ruhezustand wecken

Ich habe seit ca. 1 Woche das Problem, dass sich mein iMac (von 2008) nicht mehr aus dem Ruhezustand wecken lässt. Leider reagiert dann auch der Ein-/Aus Knopf nicht. Erst nachdem ich den Stecker ziehe und dann viel Glück habe, reagiert der Einschalt- Knopf und der IMac fährt wieder hoch. Der iMac kuehlt waehrend dem Ruhezustand auch nicht mehr richtig runter, man hoert das er trotzdem arbeitet.

Kennt Jemand das Problem und kann mir einen Tipp geben?

Dann befindet sich dein Rechner auch nicht im Ruhezustand, wie der Name schon sagt, da sollte Ruhe herrschen, wahrscheinlich stört ein Prozess das Fahren in den Ruhezustand oder der Rechner fabriziert einen sonstigen Fehler.
Was sagen denn die LogDateien(Programme/Dienstprogramme/Konsole, dort suchst du unter Alle Meldungen den Zeitpunkt des Ruhetzustands heraus und kannst dort dann sehen (vielleicht) was da bockt oder du postest den Auszug hier.

Also ich hatte den iMac um ca. 15.00 Uhr in den Ruhezustand geschickt und wollte ihn so gegen viertel vor fuenf wieder aktivieren, ich hoffe die Info hilft Dir weiter:

Nun dort steht nicht, das das System schläft, bzw. dann wieder aufgeweckt wurde.
Im Normalfall steht dort System sleep, bzw. wenn du den Rechner wieder weckst System wake.
Es sind auch die Meldungen aus Alle Meldungen?
Ersichtlich ist im Log, das um 14.48 FF beendet wurde und um 15.05 noch Entourage lief, um 16.48 hast du dann einen Start durchgeführt, der allerdings auch nicht alle Meldungen eines normalen Starts enthält.

Aufwecken ging ja leider auch nicht, weil der iMac überhaupt nicht reagiert hat (weder auf Bewegen der Maus, Tastatur, noch beim Druecken des Ein-/Aus-Knopfes)

Das ist schon informativer, der Start ist normal, hab ihn nur überflogen, aber dieses hier
PM kernel AppleFWOHCI_AsyncReceive::waitForDMA - context not going inactive
deutet darauf hin, das ein Firewire Gerät nicht abgemeldet werden kann und den Rechner zum Einfrieren bringt.
Stöpsel die FirewirePlatte mal ab und schaue ob es dann geht.
Abhilfe könnte ein PramReset bringen(wohlgemerkt könnte), Apfel+Alt+P+R beim Start so lange gedrückt halten bis der Startgong 2x gongte.

Ich benutze seit ca. Woche eine externe Festplatte von Freecom fuer meine Time Machine, kann das der Auslöser sein?

Ich stoepsel mal alle Geräte ab und versuche es noch einmal. Auf jeden Fall erst mal vielen Dank für Deine Hilfe!!

Versuch das mal. Manchmal hängt sich der mac auch auf und reagiert nicht mehr, dann hilft meist, den Power-Knopf für 5-10s gedrückt zu halten - dann geht er sicher aus und sollte sich normal wieder starten lassen.
