Mittwoch Abend haben wir noch darüber spekuliert – mittlerweile ist es offiziell: watchOS 5.2 wurde veröffentlicht. Die neue Version bringt die Unterstützung für die EKG-Funktion für die Apple Watch Series 4 in Europa – darunter auch in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz.
Die US-News-Seite 9to5Mac hat schon die Releasenotes zur Hand, dort wird explizit von einigen Regionen in Europa und Hongkong gesprochen. Welche das sind, ist noch unklar, bisher hat der Konzern die verlinkte Feature-Seite leider auch nicht aktualisiert.

EKG und weitere Funktionen
Neben der EKG-Funktion gibt es außerdem noch einige andere, eher kleinere, Änderungen. So gibt es neue Watchfaces für die Hermes Uhren, dazu kommt Support für Apple News+, was Nutzer hierzulande leider nicht wirklich tangieren dürfte.
