APPS020 Overcast

Mit Overcast bietet Marco Arment einen populären Podcachter an, der vergangene Woche ein großes Update erhalten hat. Zeit für eine kleine Empfehlung. 

Overcast ist seit Jahren eine feste Größe im Bereich der Podcatcher, Marco Arment investiert, als Podcaster, viel Zeit in die Entwicklung dieses Podcatchers. Neu ist vor allem die Funktion Voice Boost 2, zudem kann die Software jetzt auch AirPlay 2.0 Ziele direkt ansprechen.

Die Anwendung punktet mit vielen Funktionen, so zum Beispiel mit Apple Watch Sync. Rein persönlich setze ich weiterhin auf Pocket Casts, das hat aber andere Gründe, die nicht für alle Anwender zutreffen werden. Vor allem die breite Verfügbarkeit auf anderen Plattformen ist hier mein Argument.
