There is an App for that – der alte Werbespruch für den App Store gilt mittlerweile auch für Autos. VW rollt jetzt ein Update für seine eigene Anwendung aus, damit können einige Modelle zukünftig sogar via Siri Shortcut geöffnet werden.
Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen gleich vorweg: Aktuell gibt es das Update nur im US-App-Store. Mit der neuen Version ist es möglich, das Auto via Siri Shortcut zu öffnen und Siri ebenfalls im Auto direkt zu nutzen.
- With this latest update, we support iOS 12 so you can ask Siri to lock or unlock your car, honk and flash your lights and and get your fuel/charge level.
- iOS 12 Siri Shortcuts are also supported. Visit the ‘Account’ screen in the Car-Net App to learn more.
- Siri support and Siri Shortcuts for VW Car-Net Security & Service app is available on select Volkswagen models and requires a paid VW Car-Net subscription
VW Update auch für Car-Net Modelle in Deutschland?
Noch ist nicht klar, ob die Funktionen auch in Deutschland so angeboten werden. In den USA wird eine grundlegend andere App angeboten als hierzulande.
