Was haltet ihr von der Software "Black Hole" ????

ich habe grad dieses Tool hier gefunden:

Nun habe ich folgende Fragen:

1. Was genau kann man mit dieser Software machen??
2. Würdet ihr sie verwenden? Dieser Text, welcher beim erstmaligen öffnen des Programms kommt, hat mich stutzig gemacht:

Please note that although I am trying to make Black Hole as safe and effective as possible, I am not omniscient. There is a possibility (although very low) that some information remains after a cleanup. Black Hole does try to remove as much as possible. Black Hole does not replace the "Private Browsing" modes available in most web browsers, nor does it replace common sense when it comes to protecting your privacy. It is meant to be a tool to help you clean your computer, nothing more. I cannot be held responsible if you get into trouble using Black Hole if you choose to use the app to cover illegal stuff (which I do not endorse at all).

I also cannot be responsible if you lose data using the application. Black Hole has the potential to delete unwanted files and folders if you configure it incorrectly. If you don't know what you are doing, it is best to ask someone who does or refrain from using the cleaners that delete or alter files. I suggest that you read Black Hole's help docs for more info. Always backup your important data!

Diese Warnungen sind normal.
Software, die vorgibt den Rechner zu reinigen sind immer gefährlich und nebenbei vollkommen unnütz.
Ich würd das Teil nicht nutzen, nutze nebenbei keinerlei dieser Tools und meine Rechner laufen seit Anbeginn ohne Probleme, einige bereits seit 9 Jahren unter OS X und haben bisher noch nie gezickt.
Aber versuche es ruhig mit diesem Tool, wenn du dann ein Backup hast, kann nicht allzuviel passieren und schließlich sind wir hier in einem Forum, da wird dir bei Problemen geholfen.

Also so gelassen und tolerant bin ich nicht.
Wenn vor diesen Reinigungstools immer wieder gewarnt wird, dann ist es doch mutwillig sie zu verwenden und dann um Hilfe zu rufen.
Ich würde mich schämen, wenn ich trotz Warnung so einen Staubsauger oder Wischmopp verwenden würde und danach ankriechen müsste und zugeben: Mein Mac spinnt.
Anscheinend ist es aber ganz leicht, so ein Programm zu schreiben, denn es gibt ja ungezählte!
Ich verwende keines, habe aber für den Notfall applejack installiert, der macht zwar, was das FDP auch kann oder mit dem Termnal erledigt werden kann, aber er beruhigt und richtet keinen Schaden an.
