Ungewöhnliches Desktop-Problem

Hallo!

Ich habe ein Problem mit meinem Macbook M1 mit macOS Monterey, das etwas schwerer zu beschreiben ist. Wenn ich etwa im Browser bin oder in Word, dann graut das jeweilige Programm manchmal minimal aus, was ja sonst darauf hindeutet, dass ein anderes Programm auf dem Display ausgewählt/angeklickt wurde. Dies ist dann aber nicht der Fall. D.h., wenn ich etwa bei Word etwas schreibe, dann ist wie aus dem Nichts der Fokus von Word weg und ich schreibe "ins Leere" weiter. Muss dann erst wieder auf den Text klicken, um den Fokus auf das Programm wiederzuerhalten.

Das ist auch erst seit 1-2 Monaten so, davor war alles fein. Kennt jemand das Problem? Ich habe keine Ahnung, wie man in den Einstellungen danach suchen könnte oder ob es überhaupt ein anzukreuzendes Kästchen oder dergleichen dafür gibt. Vielleicht würde auch einfach ein Update von macOS helfen?

Weder noch. Wie gesagt: Es passiert in allen Apps und hat nichts im Speziellen mit Word zu tun.

kommst Du vielleicht zufällig nach oben auf die Menüleiste *und* hast Bartender 4?

Wenn ich jetzt bspw. in Chrome diesen Text hier eintippe, steht ja ganz oben links auf dem Screen das Apple-Symbol und daneben dann die ausgewählte App, in dem Fall "Chrome". Dann Datei, Bearbeiten usw. Wenn der Fokus von Chrome dann verloren geht, steht da dann quasi nicht mehr Chrome, sondern "Finder" (glaube ich, muss ich mal drauf achten!). Das ist dann also so, als würde ich unten neben dem Dock-Menü auf den Desktop klicken, wodurch der Desktop ausgewählt wird, aber das Display immer noch Chrome anzeigt – nur eben leicht ausgegraut und nicht mehr angewählt.

Leider nein. Bin bspw. vertieft im Text/Schreiben, hovere lediglich über die Buchstaben innerhalb des Dokuments.

das war nicht die Frage. Lass doch bitte mal EtreCheck laufen und poste das Resultat.

vorweg muss ich sagen, dass ich das Problem halt nicht "einfach so" kenne. Wohl aber wie geschrieben ein paar übliche Auslöser und das normale sind halt Applikationen, die querschlagen. Was ich überhaupt nicht verstehe, ist, warum Du ein "melt" von Meltytech betreibst, der nicht nur für 92% aller Energie, sondern auch für 270% CPU-Auslastung verantwortlich ist, wenn das ein Tool für Videobearbeitung ist und kein Prozess mit üblichen Schnittprogrammen auftaucht - und Du auch keinen Ton darüber verloren hast.
Das wäre jedenfalls der Prozess, mit dem ich die Untersuchung beginnen würde.
Software beenden, sicherstellen, dass sie aus ist und nach dem Verhalten dann gucken.

Und dann frage ich mich auch, warum EtreCheck zu dem Dropboxhelper (ziemlich weit oben) "possibly Malware" schreibt. EtreCheck kennt Dropbox, schreibt das also nicht ohne Grund - hast Du das evtl. aus unseriöser Quelle?

Danke für den Tipp, habe soeben die aktuellste Version installiert. Die davor war von Anfang 2022. Ich beobachte, ob sich was tut.

Ich habe ungeschickterweise den EtreCheck laufen lassen, während ein Video in Shotcut (Meltytech) gerendert wurde. Das hat zur zwischenzeitlichen extremen Auslastung geführt. Aktuell liegt die CPU-Auslastung via Aktivitätenanzeige bei 1,75 % System und 3,30 & Benutzer. Beim Speicher sind 6,48 GB belegt. Ich habe leider überhaupt keine Ahnung, ob die Zahlen in Ordnung sind oder ob ich das System mit irgendwas überlaste. Dropbox zieht mit knapp 1GB Speicher den Bärenanteil. Ich habe ein Abo, aus seriöser Quelle, direkt vom Hersteller. Zum Dropboxhelper fällt mir leider auch nichts ein ...
In der Aktivitätenanzeige befindet sich auch 3 Mal ein Google Chrome Helper (Tab Speicher), die jeweils um die 300-500 MB Arbeitsspeicher ziehen. Ist das normal?
