Hallo zusammen,

ich habe vor kurzem gebraucht einen iMac27-Mid2011 gekauft und ihn heute angeschlossen und clean installiert (erst Yosemite, dann die GM von El Capitan). Nun habe ich das Problem, dass sporadisch und ohne ersichtlichen Grund der iMac neustartet aufgrund einer Kernel Panic. Leider kann ich dem Bericht nicht viel entnehmen und bin auf Experten angewiesen.

Habe den Log auch als Anhang hochgeladen.

Mache mir jetzt Sorgen, dass ich ein defektes Gerät erwischt habe...
Wenn es "nur" die Festplatte ist, wäre es weniger schlimm, da ohnehin der Einbau einer SSD geplant ist.

Hast du externe (NTFS) Festplatten angeschlossen oder irgendwelche anderen Geräte? Hast du Treiber installiert? Nutzt du irgendeine Software, die möglicherweise nicht unterstützt wird?

Vielen Dank für deine Antwort. iTunes lief während der Kernel Panic, das ist richtig. Die Male davor (noch Yosemite) lief iTunes jedoch nicht. Habe El Capitan GM clean installiert. Die einzigen Programme, die nachträglich kamen sind:

Alfred
BetterTouchTool
Dropbox
GoogleDrive

Hatte versucht eine alte Version von Paragon NTFS zu installieren (die aktuelle habe ich noch nicht erworben), hat jedoch nicht geklappt, also habe ich es wieder runtergeschmissen.

Angeschlossen ist aktuell eine externe Festplatte und sonst nur Magic Mouse und Tastatur.

Ich glaube es liegt irgendwie an den NTFS Rückständen, siehe dein EtreCheck Diagnostic Information.

Du hast wahrscheinlich noch Paragon Sachen drauf, wie die oben genannten kext files zeigen. http://kb.paragon-software.com/para...?catId=-1&objId=6879&statId=2596520&foLang=en

Schau doch mal in den kext Ordner /System/Library/Extensions/ und entferne dann die unnötigen Dateien [Gehe zu > Gehe zum Ordner“ oder mit „Umschalt-Befehlstaste-G “ („shift-cmd-G“)].

Startest Du von der externen Platte? Mir scheint die Platte jedenfalls zu voll zu sein, wie hast Du das nach einer sauberen Installation geschafft? Da sind laut EtreCheck nur noch 8GB frei...

Einen RAM Test macht er ja über Nacht. Wenn es nicht der RAM ist, dann tippe ich immer noch auf die Paragon, NTFS usw. kext file, da diese auch gerne zu crashes führen.

Ich lese da zumindest nur heraus, dass alles "OK" ist. Habe die Paragon NTFS Spuren mal alle beseitigt und werde das heute noch beobachten. Verstehe nur nicht weshalb es diese Crashes vorher bei Yosemite kamen - ohne Paragon. Und wiese im Crash Report eingangs von iTunes die Rede war?

Beobachte es einfach mal. Noch eine Frage, ist das BetterTouchTool voll kompatibel zu Yosemite und El Captain (siehe http://blog.boastr.net/os-x-10-10-yosemite/)?

Also auf meinem MBPr (2012) hatte ich es auf Yosemite in Betrieb ohne Probleme. BetterTouchTool ist meiner Meinung nach eines der nützlichsten Tools überhaupt. Ich möchte das nicht mehr missen. Scheint unter El Capitan soweit auch keine Schwierigkeiten zu bereiten.

Sollte es wieder zu einer Panic kommen, dann würde ich den neuen Log hier posten.

Das ist nur eine Komfortfunktion im Bericht, die anzeigt, welches Programm gerade in diesem Prozessor ausgeführt wurde, als das Problem aufgetreten ist. Als Benutzerprogramm hat das Programm iTunes aber kein Recht, eine Panic auszulösen. Der Bericht sagt, dass ein Problem im Speicher-Management des Systems aufgetreten ist.

Meine Vermutung kommt von den Diagnostic Reports --> ufsd_NTFS .

Das stürzt zwar ab, kann aber nichts mit dem Problem zu tun haben. Um das Problem zu lösen, prüfe mal, ob unter /Library/Filesystems eine Datei ufsd.fs vorhanden ist.

Lasse jetzt den ausführlichen Apple Hardware Test laufen. Kann es denn sein, dass der RAM defekt ist, OBWOHL Rember über Nachts nichts meldete? RAM Defekte sind soweit ich weiß die häufigste Ursache für Panics. Daher läge die Vermutung nahe, dass es sich um einen solchen Defekt handelt. Berichte vom AHT...

Bin nach wie vor für jeden Tip dankbar.

Habe irgendwie gelesen, dass man prüfen sollte ob es Firmware Updates für den imac gibt. Ist das etwas, das ich versuchen sollte? Wenn ja, wie und wo?

Der AHT ist durchgelaufen und es wurden keine Probleme gefunden... Ob das gut oder schlecht ist weiß ich nicht.
Habe jetzt mal die zusätzlich eingebauten RAM-Riegel ausgebaut (Gott läuft der iMac langsam mit 4GB RAM...) und werde nochmal Rember über Nacht laufen lassen.

EDIT: Habe Rember nun über Nacht laufen lassen (4GB RAM, Safe Mode), wobei lediglich 147MB getestet werden konnten, da der Rest durch andere Prozesse belegt war...

Warum installiert man dann ein Beta-Betriebssystem, das nicht zur Arbeit gedacht ist? Bei solchen Systemen muss man mit ständigen Abstürzen rechnen.

Offenbar liegt kein RAM-Fehler vor. Wie gesagt wäre das nur die Standardvermutung gewesen, da der vorhandene Kernel Panic-Bericht keine eindeutige Fehlerquelle angibt.

Hast Du den Ordner /Library/Filesystems bereits überprüft? Ist er leer?

Wie gesagt, gab es die Kernel Panics bereits unter Yosemite (clean). In /Library/Filesystems existiert ein Ordner "NetFSPlugins", jedoch leer.

Was könnte denn sonst noch der Grund sein? Aktuell betreibe ich den Mac im Safe Mode. Sollte es hierbei erneut zu einem Absturz kommen, dann würde das für einen Hardware Defekt sprechen oder?

Wie sollte ich deiner Meinung nach weiter vorgehen?

EDIT: Bisher keine Abstürze. Habe gelesen, dass gemischte RAM Module Kernel Panics auslösen können. Muss dabei unbedingt ein Defekt der Module vorliegen oder kann es einfach an einer Inkompatibilität zwischen den Apple Modulen und den fremden Modulen liegen? Derzeit läuft der iMac noch mit 4GB (Stock) RAM im Safe Mode und die anderen RAM-Module habe ich in mein Macbook eingebaut, wo ich erneut einen Memtest laufen lasse. Werde beobachten ob eines der beiden Systeme nochmal crasht.

EDIT 2: Rember hat nun bei den "Zusatz-RAM"-Modulen (2 x 4 GB), die derzeit im Macbook stecken, Fehler entdeckt.

EDIT 3: Nachdem ich die beiden RAM Module im Macbook vertauscht habe, läuft memtest in der 2. von 3 Testsequenzen fehlerfrei durch... Weiß nicht wie ich das jetzt deuten soll...
