quicktime x Fehler

hallo Leute, ich hoffe, ihr könnt mir helfen:
ich hab vor ein paar tagen 10.7.2 installiert, hat auch alles geklappt. vorher war 10.5 drauf. es ist ein mac mini 2.1 1.83ghz 3gb ram

also, folgendes problem:
alle programme funktionieren, nur quicktime x nicht. quicktime kann ich zwar starten, aber ich kann keine videos öffnen. sobald ich ein video öffne, kommt das bunte Rädchen und das bleibt auch so. im sofort beenden Menü heißt es "reagiert nicht mehr"
habt ihr eine Idee, was ich falsch mache, oder was da falsch läuft?

ich hoffe, ihr könnt mir weiterhelfen, weil ich ein paar filme schaun will und kein itunes verwenden will.

Du wirst vermutlich aus der alten 10.5.x Version ein inkompatibles Plugin haben, das jetzt blockt.
Eventuell zeigt die Konsole etwas, wenn du QuickTime startest.

ot: noch eine frage: was ist ubiquity eigentlich genau?
noch etwas: auf dem mbp meines Vaters, auf das ich auch 10.7.2 installiert hab, funktioniert das ganze quicktime zeug einwandfrei, obwohl ich bei beiden Rechnern den selben installer benutzt hab, aber beim mbp hab ich nur nen upgrade gemacht.

Bei dir fabriziert ansonsten auch der qtkitserver einen Fehler, hier stellt sich dann die frage, welche plugins für QuickTime du installiert hast, so bereitet zum Beispiel 3ivx oftmals Probleme

ich hab alles, was mit und zu tun hat, wiederhergestellt. und wieder ontopic: ich hab, nachdem es nicht funktioniert hat, perian 1.2.3 installiert -> keine Verbesserung sonst hab ich nichts anderes mit qt oder irgendwelchen codecs gemacht. kann es sein, dass das löschen von ubd der Verursacher des problems ist?
