Problem mit Nifty minidrive (Karte nur read only)

Hallo!
Hat schon jemand Erfahrungen bzgl. der Nifty miniDrives?
Mein Problem: Mit meinem MacBook Air 13" (Modell 2012) funktioniert meine SanDisk 64GB micro SD Karte mit dem SunDisk Adapter problemlos. Ich kann die Karte formatieren, lesen und beschreiben.
Verwende ich die Karte allerdings im miniDrive, ist sie plötzlich nur noch read only.
Ist dieses Problem evtl. schon bei anderen Benutzern aufgetreten und/ oder kann mir jemand eine Lösungsmöglichkeit nennen?

Hallo, ich habe das gleiche Problem jetzt auch. Bis vor kurzem ging das mit dem Nifty noch. Jetzt ist der Datenträger schreibgeschützt.

In den Kommentaren auf http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1342319572/the-nifty-minidrive hab ich gelesen, dass es einen Workaround mit "Tape" geben soll der funktioniert. Hab den aber noch nicht gefunden. Das Problem nennt sich "Read only" Error/Issue. Anscheinend soll man mit Klebestreifen rum wickeln und dann geht es.

Hab jetzt einfach mal ein Tesastreifen längs ca 70/30 Breite geteilt (Sonst wäre der Streifen zu breit). Dann hab ich den 70er-Streifen längs um den Nifty Adapter mit integrierter Micro-SD-Karte gewickelt. Die SD-Adapter-Kontakte müssen natürlich frei bleiben. Und es geht jetzt wieder.

Schön ist es natürlich nicht. Man wartet nen 3/4 Jahr auf den Adapter und dann sowas.

hab die Lösung mit dem Klebeband gerade ausprobiert - es funktioniert jetzt.
Schnelle und einfache Lösung - aber doch irgendwie peinlich für Nifty.
Auf jeden Fall danke für den Tip!

Bei Apple Produkten und Zubehör für diese überrascht mich nix mehr. Jedes Teil welches man sich kauft hat irgendwelche Macken. Dabei hab ich ursprünglich gewechselt, weil ich dachte es wäre die heile Computerwelt

All I can do is say how sorry we are that the first shipment has got so many bugs!

If the MiniDrive is coming up as a "read only" it means that the computer thinks the write protection switch has been moved to "read only" on the side of the MiniDrive. In actual fact, the MiniDrive does not have a write protection switch, it has a solid plastic side which serves the same purpose.

The read only issue is actually caused by the microSD card sitting too deep in the microSD card slot. There are a number of temporary fixes that we have worked out for this issue, starting with the simple and moving towards the more involved:

The most simple fix is to not push your microSD card too far into the MiniDrive, making sure the back of the microSD card is level with the edge of the body of the MiniDrive. If this means that the MiniDrive is no longer detected in the computer, that means that the microSD card is no longer making contact and you'll need to move onto the more in depth fixes.

The first and easiest is to wrap a single band of cello-tape around the body of the MiniDrive, covering the microSD card slot on the side of the MiniDrive and ensuring the place where the "write protection" switch would normally be is properly covered.

If that doesn't work then try adding (under the tape if you choose) a small piece of cardboard/paper behind the microSD card to help fill in the "gap"https://dl.dropbox.com/u/57549762/Photo 31-01-2013 10 40 38 PM2.jpg
