[11 Big Sur] Macbook Pro Early 2015 sehr langsam

Hallo Zusammen,

auch wenn Catalina nicht das beste Betriebssystem war, lief es doch eigentlich sehr rund auf meinem MBP.

Seit dem Update auf Big Sur habe ich aber nur Probleme. Alles ist langsam, teilweise reagiert das MB sehr langsam, hat Freezes und Hänger.

Habe im Apple Dev Forum einen Beitrag gefunden, indem sich auch andere User über solche Probleme äußern, eine Lösung scheint es aber nicht zu geben: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/651399

Mein System habe ich erst vor 3 Monaten komplett neu aufgesetzt. Meint ihr das ist einfach ein Big Sur Problem und wird gefixed? An der Hardware kann es doch eher nicht liegen. Die ist zwar 5 Jahre alt, aber doch nicht soooo schlecht, dass es auf einmal solche Probleme gibt.

Diese Meinung dürfte widerlegt sein. Apple weiss sehr genau, dass da draussen noch extrem viele Intel Macs sind, und wenn sie sich diese Kunden durch schlecht optimierte Software vergraulen, werden die sich zwei Mal überlegen weiter auf Apple Produkte zu setzen.

Richtig ist, dass der Fokus der Entwicklung mit Sicherheit in Richtung der Apple Silicon Macs geht. Aber solange Intel Macs noch verkauft werden, werden die auch sauber unterstützt.

Wenn man nicht gerade Hardware-Treiber programmiert, ist es völlig egal, auf welchem Prozessor das Betriebssystem läuft. Das spielt bei der Entwicklung überhaupt keine Rolle.

vielen Dank für deine Rückmeldungen.
Ich habe mir mal die Mühe gemacht und die Etrechecks abgearbeitet, neugestartet, erneut mit Etre gescannt usw usw.

Nun sieht es schonmal deutlich besser und "sauberer" aus.
Das einzige was ich von dem Kram wieder installieren würde wäre die Logitech Software zum einstellen der Maus. Die .kext von Logitech sind auch nicht mehr gesehen.

Des Weiteren bin ich auch die Launch Daemons und Agents durchgegangen.

Der Process mit der hohen Auslastung bleibt auch mir unbekannt. Es steht lediglich "Other processes" im Etre und unter der Aktivitätsanzeige findet sich nichts aufälliges.

Was macht denn "AppCleaner" so? Muss die Software die ganze Zeit "mitschneiden" was du tust, um wissen was zu welchem Programm gehört?

Das würde ich zum Test auch mal vollständig entfernen.

Das ist ein Programm, welches nicht nur eine App an sich löscht, sondern auch Dateien die davon im System erstellt wurden. Daemons usw.
Danke für deinen Hinweis, es gibt zwei Arten die App zu nutzen. Per Drag&Drop eine zu deinstallierende App raufziehen, damit die Analyse beginnt. ODER, dass was du angesprochen hast, es rennt im Hintergrund und erkennt, wenn eine App in den Papierkorb geschoben wird. Entsprechend habe ich die letzte Variante erstmal deaktiviert und belasse es bei einem manuellen Prozess.

AppCleaner ist völlig harmlos - denn es "optimiert" nichts am System - es durchsucht einfach nur die Platte nach bestimmten Suchkriterien - also was ist alles von der App TeamViewer - und dann kann man das löschen. Wie ein Tool das doppelte Bilder oder sowas sucht - also reine Suche auf Dateiebene.

Wie ein Tool das doppelte Bilder oder sowas sucht - also reine Suche auf Dateiebene.

Korrekt, und ich finde es ganz gut zu sehen, wo Kram von alten Apps liegt um diese dann direkt mit zu entsorgen.

Nachtrag: Es scheint was bewirkt zu haben. Die Kiste ist nun deutlich schneller und läuft rund. Hatte seit gestern keine Freezer mehr!

Ist schon besser irgendwie. Meine Aufräumarbeiten haben halt einiges bewirkt. Bin zufrieden, man muss ja das Alter der Hardware auch berücksichtigen und kann halt nicht erwarten das neuste Software genau so schnell läuft, wie auf neuer Hardware.

lass dir noch etwas Zeit mit dem Upgrade auf BigSur, es hat noch genügend Bugs, vor 11.5 würde ich nicht Upgraden.

Also ich habe mir ein MacBook Air 2012 mit 4GB Ram gekauft. Catalina war auch drauf, ja es lief, aber ich hatte immer das Gefühl da geht noch was. Hab mir dann Big Sur 11.3 drauf gemacht und muss sagen jetzt ist er echt schnell. Kann jetzt sogar 4K Videos ruckelfrei bearbeiten, 20 Fotos nebenbei noch 10 Internetseiten offen haben ohne dass er ins straucheln kommt. Also für mich hat sich das Update definitiv gelohnt. Ahja 120GB M2 SSD ist drin mit einem 256GB Jetdrive von dem ich die Programme starte.

Hallo Zusammen,

auch wenn Catalina nicht das beste Betriebssystem war, lief es doch eigentlich sehr rund auf meinem MBP.

Seit dem Update auf Big Sur habe ich aber nur Probleme. Alles ist langsam, teilweise reagiert das MB sehr langsam, hat Freezes und Hänger.

Habe im Apple Dev Forum einen Beitrag gefunden, indem sich auch andere User über solche Probleme äußern, eine Lösung scheint es aber nicht zu geben: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/651399

Mein System habe ich erst vor 3 Monaten komplett neu aufgesetzt. Meint ihr das ist einfach ein Big Sur Problem und wird gefixed? An der Hardware kann es doch eher nicht liegen. Die ist zwar 5 Jahre alt, aber doch nicht soooo schlecht, dass es auf einmal solche Probleme gibt.

Geht mir ähnlich. Mein MBP ist zwar zwei Jahre jünger und hat Vollausstattung, doch identisches Verhalten. Auch auf einem vollaugebauten iMac gleiches Verhalten. Sehr zögerliche Tastaturwiederholung. Safari scheint sich zu verschlucken.
Aktivitätsanzeige reportet, dass WindowServer sehr aktiv ist.

Bin alles andere als zufrieden.

Hatte das Programm früher auch. Wichtige Dateien findet es nicht. Löchrig wie ein Schweizer Käse. Es taugt dem, der daran glaubt. Mehr nicht.
