[MacBook Pro] Macbook Pro 13" aus 2011 (late) sehr langsam

Hallo zusammen,

ich nutze einen Macbook Pro aus dem Jahr 2012 und inzwischen ist die Kiste sehr, sehr langsam. Habe oft den Beachball auf dem Display, teilweise muss ich beim Schreiben warten, bis die Worte angezeigt werden. Programme (Mail, Safari, ...) starten sehr langsam. Quasi alle üblichen Symptome, die einen User zur Verzweiflung bringen.

Hat jemand hilfreiche Tipps, wie ich wieder zu einer anständigen Performance komme? Vorab schon mal vielen Dank!

Standardantwort aus dem Apfeltalk Forum: Eröffne einen neuen Benutzer und starte mit diesem den Mac; läuft das System mit dem neuen Nutzer gleich? Oder läuft es viel schneller? Dann weißt du nämlich, woran die schwache Performance liegt.

Bitte poste die SMART-Werte Deiner Festplatte für mich zum Kaffeesatzlesen. SMARTReporter Tryout besorgen (http://www.corecode.at/smartreporter/, das Tryout kostet kein Geld), starten, dann auf Überprüfungen, S.M.A.R.T., dann auf Fortgeschrittene Werkzeuge, dann "Attribute zeigen" in der Zeile Deiner Systemfestplatte. Die dann Copy&Paste hier rein. Falls Du die smartmontools (Terminal) installiert hast, so geht es auch damit (einfacher: smartctl -a disk0).

Würde ich Dir auch empfehlen.

Dem mit der SSD kann ich mich nur anschließen, da Deine Festplatte sehr viele Parkvorgänge aufweist, was die Beachbälle auf jeden Fall erklärt. Es gibt ein paar Tools, die das Parken verhindern, aber die beheben weder das Problem noch den bereits geschehenen Verschleiß. Meiner Ansicht nach ist das ein Serienfehler in den MBP 13" 2011/2012, für die Apple eigentlich verklagt gehört. Anyway, Du bist aus Gewährleistung und Garantie raus, von daher ist Deine einzige Option der Tausch zu einer SSD, was aber zum Glück mittlerweile absolut leistbar ist. Auf der Plusseite wird der Einbau auch zu einer völligen Rakete verhelfen, wenn das Gerät sonst noch in Schuss ist. Also unbedingt machen, eine Freundin von mir schwärmt jetzt noch vom Umbau. CPU-seitig sind auch bei den zwischenzeitlichen Neugeräten nicht wirklich Meilensteine hinzugekommen, sodass das Gerät noch einige Jahre Dienst tun kann.

Eine SSD kann wirklich Wunder wirken, vor allem im Vergleich zu den recht langsamen 5400 RPM Platten.
Als ich vor drei Jahren mein MacBook 13'' 2008/Alu damit aufgerüstet habe, war es ein unglaublicher Geschwindigkeitszuwachs.

Ich nutze das Laptop auch jetzt noch ab zum Surfen, und die Geschwindigkeit ist absolut gut.
