iMac 2011 stellt Rentenantrag (HDD defekt?)

Hallo Forum,
Nachdem ich mich nun seit knapp zwei Wochen immer wieder durchs Netz quäle und nach diversen Selbstversuchen nun mit meinem Latein am Ende bin, hoffe ich auf Hilfe.

Mein 2011 iMac läuft mit dem aktuellen High Sierra auf einer SSD. Nach einiger Zeit meldet er, dass Mail ein Netzwerkproblem hätte, worauf das Programm beendet wird und sich auch nicht mehr öffnen lässt. Danach kann irgendwann Safari keine Seiten mehr öffnen, Änderungen an Pages Dateien werden ohne etwaigen Hinweis nicht mehr gespeichert (der Speicherbalken läuft aber beim Drücken von Apfel und S noch durch). Diverse andere Fehler kommen dazu, die scheinbar keinen Zusammenhang haben.

PRAM Reset, anderen Benutzer anlegen, Neuaufsetzen des Systems, Aufspielen meines Benutzers von meinem MacBook, Voodoo und Beten haben bestensfalls die Dauer bis zum erneuten Auftreten verlängert. Der ausführliche Hardwaretest blieb ergebnislos.

Da ich noch eine normale Platte im iMac habe, stieg ich aus Zeitnot kurzerhand auf die um, bis ich das Problem in Ruhe klären konnte. Dort kann ich den Mac nicht mehr herunterfahren. Der Bildschirm wird schwarz, die Beleuchtung bleibt an und der Mauszeiger kann bewegt werden. Beim Drücken von Tasten kommt der Ping-Ton, als würde ich tippen ohne ein Eingabefenster gewählt zu haben.

Die Fehler scheinen unzusammenhängend. Man könnte natürlich einfach die SSD tauschen lassen, doch im besten Falle ist das Problem nicht behoben, ich aber 300€ weniger vermögend. Daher bin ich sehr dankbar, wenn hier jemand Ideen hat.

Guten Morgen Thomas, vielen Dank für Deine Antwort. Das hatte ich sogar auch schon gemacht, das Ergebnis schien mir allerdings unauffällig. Mir war allerdings schon gar nicht mehr bewusst, was das Programm alles weiß.... um die Angaben noch zu ergänzen: Schuhgröße 44 und Augenfarbe violett, Schniedelgröße bleibt geheim.

Habe es gerade nochmal frisch von der SSD Partition mit den Netzwerkproblemem laufen lassen, allerdings läuft diese noch auf Sierra (ist das Backup vom MacBook). Da es das gleiche Fehlerbild wie unter High Sierra ist, schließe ich das Betriebssystem aber auch als Fehlerquelle aus:

Schuhgröße und Augenfarbe sind ok, aber dieses andere, interessante Detail lässt du dann doch einfach weg.

Aber Scherz beiseite...
Ich sehe außer Java nichts böses (und so böse, dass es diesen Fehler verursachen würde, ist es sicher auch nicht) und etrechek findet dein System auch ok. Ich bin ratlos und hoffe, jemand anderes hat noch eine Idee.
Sorry, ich fürchte, ich kann dir auch nich weiter helfen.

Schade... dennoch danke, dann hoff ich mal auf die anderen Experten hier. Meine Befürchtung ist das Mainboard... das wäre der schlimmste Fall.
